We have a new car
it's blueish grey. it's biiiggg and spacious. it's like an aeroplane. it's comfy. it has cool knick-knaks. we like it.
We had an old car
it was white. it was big and kinda spacious. it was also like an aeroplane. it was the 'big bus'. it had cool flasy lights. it was like 2nd home...
We sold the old car today, it was really like our second home.
I still remember the day we went to Seremban to look at it. It had fancy lights by the coin slot so catching to my seven-year old eyes. It was a special trip. We had to get a new car you see, Cassel was the new addition to our family and the old Nissan car just wasn't big enough.
We decided to buy, it meeting our money budget. It arrived a few weeks later and we got used to it. It took us to Singapore (broke down at the customs) took us to Fraser's Hill and lots of family holidays. We cried in it, slept in it, played, laughed and got to know new people in it.. We grew up with it. We each had our own special seats, ahah, like the left side was Cassel's place, the right mine, and so on.
We picked up hundreds, maybe a thousand people over the years with it. Ranging from our neighbours (jien lee, sue fin, and sue ern have spent a fair amount of time in it) to speakers from overseas.
We packed it up with stuff when we went for children's camps and it never complained.
We'll miss it definitely. But we're also happy with our new car, i'll be looking forward to many road trips with it :)
Daddo loves the new one. Washes it almost every week!! Complains when we bump into it and gives us a lecture on not rushing.. lol.
Mom loves it as she gets to sit in front and choose whatever music she likes. She says it gives her sense of power over the car >.>
Cassel loves it. He has taken lots of pictures with it already..
Colin likes it I guess..
Carene hasn't seen it yet. But she'll definitely like it. :)
